Mary Mallon emigrated from Ireland as a teenager, she traveled by herself to start a new life in the New York, United States in 1883. Later on, she has found she was good at cooking, then she started working for rich families it was a pretty fair pay for her job. But that did not last long until George Soper goes to where she works and ask to take the specimen to test if she had typhoid fever. Then she threatened him with a fork to get George Soper out of the kitchen and never come back. But George Soper did not give up and he starts tracking her down to where she lived.
George Soper waited until she comes home then he starts asking her that he need a specimen from her. She starts saying how did you find me and yelping to George Soper to never come back. Then George Soper asks someone to go to Mary Mallon workplace to take a specimen from her. So the investigator and four health officer to get her then the investigator knock on the door and asking to get a sample of her specimen.
