I have accomplished many things in my short life-time and although they are small in comparison of what really matters such as skills, abilities and mindsets , these have shaped me into the person I am today. From being class president and working on the voice of students being heard, to being on the dance team and learning how teamwork and passion can truly impact one’s results, to being inducted to the National Honor Society that promoted the importance of academics, community service and participating in state-run competitions, as well as being accepted in the prestigious Peer Assistant Leadership program where students are given the opportunity to mentor a troubled child or a special education student. work and involvement in my school, I was able to receive many academic awards and graduate in the top 12% percent of my class, all while working part-time at a restaurant which may have not helped me academically but taught me time-management, responsibility and people skills. All of this has helped me discovered that I am an extremely determined and persevering person. I will always strive to do better. In my opinion there is always room for improvement; bettering yourself is a lifelong project that you work on and achieve by taking on challenges and accomplishing your goals.
With a management degree I am interested in starting a career working and being involved with arts and fashion businesses, it is a field I am passionate and captivated by.
As an international student I am also very enthusiastic of exploring such a beautiful and unique city such as London. Being a Mexican citizen who spent six years in Texas, I can confirm that being immersed in a different culture is one of the most enriching experiences and I would be truly grateful to get to explore an European country.
