1) What is unique about Matthew's story? Why do you think Matthew emphasized those aspects? Certain parts of Matthews story that where unique I thought was the wording. The reason this is so important is because it can shows us that Jesus was a child in the story instead of a new born baby. The most important aspect of the Birth story is the actual birth of Christ Jesus who is our savior the one who was born of a virgin, and sent to this world to die for our sins so that one day we can live with him, and our heavenly father. Which is something that none of us deserve, but through his mercy, and grace we have been forgiven, and given a choice to follow our Lord, and place our faith in him so that one day we can go to spend eternity with our father in heaven. Instead of a lifetime in hell burning for the rest of our days. Jesus birth is greatest gift the world was ever given in my opinion because without him it’s hard to imagine how there would be any hope in the crazy world we already live in today. My daily walk with Jesus is what gets me through the good, and the bad times in life its hard to imagine how so many people make it every day without that
