3. Maturity critical thinking applies in all aspects, especially when arguing is involved. Therefore, as a mature critical thinker, one must be able to test one’s own beliefs and admit to their own mistakes. A mature critical thinker must have the ability to understand these aspects because it allows one to examine the reasons for his/her beliefs and consider the evidence to support our claims. Therefore, people are able to expand their minds, allow themselves to test their own beliefs, and eventually acknowledge if they are wrong.
