My decision to pursue and MBA is driven from my ambition to expand the horizon of my learning and apply it towards my long and short term professional goals of an influencing career in management and organizational leadership. After having worked extensively on various aspects of management and operations, I have successfully gained the experience and exposure to establish my foothold towards this goal. An MBA backed up with a strong focus in my areas on interest would help me couple my past work experiences with advanced learning for a wider perspective, in-depth knowledge and a stronger potential for future career growth and endeavors.
Throughout my professional career, I have gradually build up expertise on various components of effective management, people skills, dynamic capability to respond to changing organizational preferences as well as streamlining my interests and energies into productive and quantifiable results. Switching roles and adapting to new business arenas has been a regular in the various roles I have embraced. This includes functional domains like Finance, Human Resource, Operations, Program and Project Management as well as industries such as Healthcare, Technology and hospitality. Establishing commendable networks and professional relations at work has not only helped me gain reputation, respect and contacts, but also instilled key working skills such as leadership, team work and continuous improvement through seeking and providing constructive feedback. I realize the power of people and the importance of a healthy and conducive work environment and this enhances my capability to inspire and lead people while also switching roles, whenever needed.
