INAUGURATION:
A pleasant good morning and a warm welcome to one and all present here. “Coming together is a beginning, Keeping together is progress, Working together is success”. Yes we are all here together for the Inaugural function of the four day “International Workshop on Stress Assissted Environmental Damage in Structural Materials”.

INVOCATION:
As we march forward into this grand event with high hopes and aspirations, let us invoke the blessing of God Almighty to be highly successful in all the ventures.
I request the gathering to rise for the invocation song by Aneissha.

LAMP LIGHTING:
I welcome our honorable Chief Guest Dr Baskar Ramamurthi, Director IIT Madras, to inaugurate the ceremony by lighting the lamp.
