McDonaldization
McDonanldization in society today, employees don’t need a lot of knowledge or skills. Employees just need skills to process and follow instruction on how to do a meal or burger. Employee need to be a fast learner, customer services and be more productive to the company and perform every task as well done. McDonald’s employee doesn’t require too much training; spend less money on employees working in the company, become more efficient and cost the company less money to paid employees the lowest wages. This leaves them so easily replaceable and don’t have any negotiable or bargaining power to fight to save your job. A few years ago, a projected of a huge store was built near my block where I live call McDonalds restaurant and many more were built around different boroughs areas and different cities around the world. My parents and family started to buy food from the restaurant and the store was always packed with people buying food. People were not able to find parking because it was always packed of cars and big lines to buy food. What will catch your attention was a TV commercial that indicate you need a McDonalds break with big mac burger, fried and a coke, and for children’s was a happy meal. The examples of McDonald’s restaurants promise us the consumer a fast food experience and fast servers with excellent food choices. McDonald’s food is not necessarily good or healthy for anyone to eat. The principle of fast-food restaurant dominates American society into thinking fast food is healthy. Customers have adapted to fast food choice around the world with more efficient of quick food service and times well spend buying food outside and instead buying food to cook at home with your family.
