McDonalds
Mcdonald’s is the leading quick serve restaurant in world with over 33000 restaurants. It started in Indian in 1996 and is famous as McD. Locally it is owned by its master franchise Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (HRPL) in south and west India and JV partner Connaught Plaza Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. in North and East India (CPRL). McD currently has over 330 restaurants in all part of the India. McD has always offered brand value at affordable prices. Their values are defined around the customer and ultimate aim is to serve”Good Food – Fast!”. They could easily implement “One minute service” in busy business hours as well. McD has continuous innovated product range and menu.

McDonald’s values customer satisfaction as an important factor for brand success and operate all restaurants (both company owned as well as franchised) on some fixed standards.
a) QUALITY
Utmost importance is given quality and in order to achieve quality standards, they have classified quality into three subdivisions: For best quality ingredients, the company has undertaken following measures:
• 'Cold, Clean and On-time Delivery’ from Radhakrishna Foodland (Distribution partner)
• Pre-cooled rooms by Trikaya Agriculture for supply of fresh Iceberg lettuce.
• Complete automated and computer controlled equipments by Dynamix Dairy to supply cheese.
• Storage facilities (maintain -35 degree temperature) by Vista Processed Foods Pvt. Ltd for ensuring fresh chicken and vegetables

b) SERVICE
These basically forms a part of soft standards and includes instructions and guidelines that has to be followed by McDonald’s staff like
• Greeting every customer with a smile
• Maintaining consistent hospitality standards
• Seize opportunities to interact with customers in a personal and positive
