My first Text is a movie 'Mean girls' directed by Mark Waters, scripted by Tina Fey and based on the book by Rosalind Wiseman. It was made on the 30th April 2004 by Paramount Home Entertainment, and It's a recent movie produced in Australia. It was created for teenage girls, as a comedy, relating to teenagers that when finding identity you can be insecure, and part of finding comfort is finding where you belong.
Mean girls is about a 16 year old teenager called Cady, who has lived in Africa and been home-schooled all her life. When her parents move to America, they enroll her in a mainstream school, Cady finds her self trying to belong amongst jocks, mathletes and other subcultures. She also thinks she knows all about 'survival of the fittest' until she crosses paths with Regina, Gretchen and Karen - the Plastics. The Plastics are the most popular girls in school. Cady falls for Regina's ex-boyfriend Aaron, Regina gets hurt, and is set on getting Cady back. She does this by pretending to like Aaron so he won't go out with Cady, at the same time pretending to be Cady's friend, scheming to ruin Cady's social future. With no choice Cady uses the same method to stay in the game, referred to as the "Girl World." One thing leads to another until the entire school is running for cover.
