According to this view meaningfulness in life can be rise when our action or larger than our self such as in the Sisyphus example her life has subjective values, but lack of any objectivity so that it is hard to say that his life was meaningful. Wolf (2010) describes it as a Biprate view – meaningful life has not only fulfillment (subjective values), but also consider something larger than oneself (objective values). Moreover, she explains that these two points are not enough to describe meaningfulness in life, such as if Sisyphus rolling a stone, giving him fulfillment and may be due to his action he try to spread terror in enemies than his action also larger than oneself but still not meaningful because it give no value to his own life (Wolf, 2010). After that Wolf explore a view known as “The Fitting Fulfillment View” according to this our passion and values for own self both are important for meaningful life (Wolf, 2010).
