Throughout time, the word sick has evolved into many distinctive meanings that many people have never heard of. When thinking about the definitions of “sick,” many individuals only consider the physical state of being sick and also the modern way of saying it such as “That skateboard trick was sick,” which is said in a positive way. The word came from common Germanic around the time of the 800’s.
