Media Report: Theories Of Domestic Violence
PER REPORTER: The father believes the mother and boyfriend are using heroin. Reporter believes it is being used around the children. Per reporter, the child wanted to say something but was scared. It is unknown if drugs are being sold or manufactured out of the home. Drugs are not accessible to the children. It is unknown if the children have been harmed or hurt. Reporter stated the child won't say anything. She is scared she may get a whipping. The child didn't say she was scared. She said she doesn't like the boyfriend because he whips them all the time. It is unknown to what extent the children are being whipped. It is unknown if the children have any marks or bruises. Mom would ask the neighbor for a pack of meat but the neighbor doesn't give her meat anymore. She cooks and call the children down to eat. Reporter stated mom kept the child away from him for 6 years. Reporter stated he just started working and has his own place. He asked mom why she didn't call him (father). Reporter stated he didn't know the mother hada sister. He knows she has a brother. Reporter stated the child is with the sister. Reporter believes she has been with the sister for a whole week but he didn't know she was gone. Reporter last saw the child on Monday October 24th because he took her the shoes he bought. Reporter stated he told mom to go get the child and she said no because the sister will care for her. Reporter believes the mother doesn't want to care for the children. Mom didn't get the child from the sister. Reporter stated he told mom to tell the sister to call him but she hasn't. Reporter stated he wanted to press charges against the mother for neglect. Law enforcement told him to call DHS because they have no rights over the situation. Reporter was told DHS would then contact law enforcement. Reporter stated he told mom he was going to report her but she said she didn't care. The children do not need immediate medical attention he is aware
