What really drew me into the coding the researching and matching up the codes to the provider’s diagnosis and procedures into the codes for insurance payers. I found that very interesting. There is a lot of attention to detail in this career and I am a very organized person and I felt this is the right choice in career for me. I would recommend this career that to any one that enjoys working inside an office at a desk, with little noise, and reading medical records and researching the information need to send to billing for payment. This is an essential part in the medical field, because it is the way for income to the facility and staff.
