I am writing this email to reiterate that Sidney Kimmel Medical College is still my top choice and I would be honored to attend if I get accepted. Moreover I also would like to show that I will be a good fit to school and to update on the things that I have done since the last email that I have sent to you.

On my interview day, your hospitality, your determination to your students and your philosophy in educating outstanding clinicians of the future has impressed me greatly. When I came to Jefferson University Campus, I already was aware of the top of the notch medical education offered at Sidney Kimmel Medical College but, I was impressed by the great nurturing environment that you have created for your students. On the interview day, every student that I have met loved their school and spoke very highly of the education that they were receiving. Furthermore, in the meeting before my student interview, when the admissions talked about raising empathetic physicians of the future I agreed wholeheartedly. Although, I love doing research and want it to be part of what I will be doing in my career as a physician, I would also like to be a caring, knowledgeable, and resourceful clinician as well. When people hear “pre-medicine,” they think of majors like biology, chemistry, biomedical engineering, health sciences, and other popular majors. I chose chemistry as my major, not only because I wanted to stand out not blend in, but also because I am aware of my strengths and weaknesses. I have always performed better in chemistry than in biology. I prefer challenges and I love the way chemistry challenges me. I am going into freshmen year with the knowledge of the level of difficulty that my major encompasses. I need to remain focused and work hard in order to succeed and achieve a solid gap of at least 3.6 for admission to medical school.…

Stride after stride after stride, I was oblivious to the pain in my calves or the sweat dripping down my forehead; the only thing on my mind was outdoing my summer's best time. After running close to six miles every day, I had no intention of breaking that streak. However, that hot July day I had no choice but to end it. My hopes of becoming a UConn athlete subsequently came to a standstill, but I took it as a meaningful sign that I would have extra time to focus on my number one aspiration of getting accepted into pharmacy school and becoming a pharmacist.…

Despite performing a new role as a community health nursing student, that I am not accustomed to, it is my responsibility as a nursing student to learn about the variety of resources and services offered by my clinical placement. Thus, prior to this situation, what I could have done to avoid feeling uncertain, was to ensure that I was knowledgeable about the Centre’s resources and services ahead of time. This would have been more proactive, instead of waiting until a time client is asking for help to become informed. Thus, in the future what I will do differently is when I first begin my clinical placement to be self-directed by asking questions to my preceptor and other staff about the placement’s resources and services. As well, I can ask…

Birds. Some animals get disease from they eat and drink. An antibiotic was discovered in the soils of the threatened New Jersey Pine Barrens Natural Area. Significant impact of global warming is already discernible in animal and plant populations. The synergism of rapid temperature rise and other stresses, in particular habitat destruction, could easily disrupt the connectedness among species and lead to a reformulation of species communities, reflecting differential changes in species, and to numerous extirpations and possibly extinctions. Global warming is quickly becoming the biggest threat to the long-term survival of America’s wildlife. Average temperatures in the U.S. over the last century have already increased by more than one degree Fahrenheit. Seven of the top 10 warmest years on record for the contiguous 48 states have occurred since 1998, and 2012 was the warmest year on record. Without significant new steps to reduce carbon pollution, our planet will warm by 7 to 11 degrees Fahrenheit by the end of the century, with devastating consequences for wildlife. In the western U.S., warming and drought stress are causing trees to die and making them more vulnerable to pine beetle and other insect infestations. Higher temperatures and increased fuel from dead trees have led to more wildfires. Global warming can lead to mass species extinction. Some scientists predict as many as a third of all species will become extinct by 2050. Goble warming mess up the food chain. It cost many play to die off of drought. Polar bears rely heavily on Arctic sea ice, which is rapidly disappearing due to global warming. Climate change is altering key habitat elements that are critical to wildlife's survival and putting natural resources in jeopardy. Many scientists believe the rate of climate change is too rapid for various species to keep up. The gas is considered by many scientists to be responsible for global warming and has consistently breached the mark for a…
