Students will perform a Case Analysis Memoranda (CAM) assignment. The name of the case is
Meli Marine which is available from Richard Ivey School of Business, Harvard or from the
WLU book store. This instruction sheet covers this assignment.
This is a close case assignment The marking and overall assessment will be based on how students answered the posted question based on the information found in the case and nowhere else. This assignment has a specific due date and time for all sections. Wednesday February 12th at noon (sharp). The assignment report must be submitted both in hard copy and as an electronic file on MLS. Students create their group though the “self-registration” group functionality provided by MyLearningSpace. Group size is determined by your class size and instructors directions. The following references documents written by Dr Ken Harling and Dr Detlev Nitsch from
Wilfrid Laurier University are available on “MyLearningSpace”. Students may find these documents helpful in completing this assignment successfully.

Rules:
1. Assignments are due on or before the assignment hand-in dates and times noted in the class schedule handout. Late assignments will not be accepted
2. Your CAM must be submitted in two formats by the deadline:
• Hard copy: Drop off boxes set up outside WLU SBE 2201. A peer evaluation sheet should be submitted by each student at the same time as the CAM 1 hardcopy submission although it is optional.1
• Electronically: “MyLearningSpace” – Drop box
