Memorable moment
One of the most memorable event in my life was when my handsome baby boy born. I can still remember it, like it was yesterday. October 30, 2007 was the day I had my baby boy. It was a sunny and a quite morning when I started having pains. I went to the bathroom because of all the pressure I was feeling down below. Look down and there it was blood everywhere. I quickly woke my husband and told him it’s time. He was so excited, happy, and anxious. My husband called the doctor immediately and explained him what was happening. The doctor told him that we need to go to the hospital. Later, between 3:30 pm we got to the hospital and check in. My mom and my husband were there with me. I felt a little scare and nervous. The room was full of nurses. One of them was Maria. She was tall, slim built, and with a long black hair. She helped me into the bed so she could check to see how much I dilated. At that time it was only 3 cm, and she thought it would be awhile before I deliver. So she began to ask me questions upon questions. One of the questions, that I barely remember, was if my water brakes. I told her that I think it wasn’t. So she went to get this long stick, so she can finish the job. She started my IV and then included some Pitocin to help with inducing my labor. My husband was sitting on a green, big and comfortable couch laughing at me everytime that I said that I had pain. After 9 hours with contractions it was time to deliver my baby boy.

The doctor came walking in smiling and with a blue shirt. He asked me clearly and loud: “Is you finally ready to have this baby?” I said “Yes” with emotion. So, I closed my eyes trying to prepared myself for this big event in my life. I can hear all the noise going on around me. Everyone was running around and getting things that they may need. The doctor began to open my legs and say, “ok its time for you to start pushing.” I was ready but still felt to try to push. So my husband started grabbing my leg, like he

At 12:30 at night on June 1, 2015, my life would soon change forever. I was pregnant with my first child and my water had just broken. My mom rushed me to the hospital where I was immediately put in a private room, in the hospital bed where I was about to deliver my first child, a son. He came so quickly (5 & 1/2 hours in total) and I had requested no pain medications and turned it down on several occasions as the medical staff pleaded with me to use it. The pain began to become more and more unbearable, so much so that I honestly felt paralyzed from my waist down. My body was taking over to my surprise and I was just there with my legs in stirrups. They seemed immovable and with the pains coming faster, it is as if they stopped receiving any of the signals my brain was sending to them.…
