Memorable Trip - Water Sports Activity
Water Sports Activity – H2O on 1st May 2010

Yippee!! Hurray! My joy knew no bounds when my mother announced that CMC had arranged a water sports activity which comprised of Jet Ski, speed boat, motor boat and bay cruise. But alas, the date was the day of my results. After a lot of coaxing and cajoling, I persuaded my mother and we decided to pick up my result early and directly reach the venue. We did the same and reached H2O Water Sports. As we were reaching the venue we could see the speed at which the Jet Ski was going and butterflies started fluttering in the pits of my stomach. When we reached inside the venue, we were assured looking at the safety features provided. We were provided life jackets and what more – an expert skier was to accompany on every Jet Ski ride. I chose two of the most enthralling sports – Jet Ski and speed boat. We were given priority over other, since we belonged to the CMC group. The Jet Ski is a scooter shaped streamlined automobile that zips through water (I had only seen it in movies). As I went close to the jetty, I saw a man getting down from the ski, brimming with joy. I too felt ecstatic to board the Jet Ski and luckily my chance came next. The expert skier took me on the ride and we zoomed through the water, leaving me breathless with excitement. In fact, I even took my mother’s chance so that I could go for one more round. The speed boat was an open topped small boat with high speed motor attached at its end. For balancing minimum four people were required (except the driver). My father, mother, an uncle and I sat on the boat, with me sitting on the dashboard. The slightly bumpy, exciting and fast ride left me craving for more. After the wonderful boating experience Philomena Aunty took us to the famous Girgaum Chowpatty where scrumptious snacks lay in store for us. We were given a choice between all different kinds of chaats and we chitchatted over bottles of cold drinks and mineral water. Then we bade each

It was a beautiful July day in 2014 when my family and I were camping at Holland Lake with our family friends Kinsey and Lauren. There wasn't a cloud in sight and the sun reflected off the bluish greenish water. The air smelt of smoke and fresh trees. Early in the morning when the campground is quiet you can even hear the waterfall. Holland Lake is a very busy lake with boaters, tubers, water skiers, ect. Since that day was so nice there were a bunch of boats on the lake the waves were huge. Kinsey, Lauren, Alex and I were all pretty close in age but Alex and Lauren were taller so they get the outside of the tube. When we all finished breakfast I changed into my swimming suit speedy fast and rode my bike as fast as I could to my cousins camper, Alex. I had to wait what felt like 5 hours for her to change. Once she was done we waited for Kinsey and Lauren at ¨The Beach¨. Alex and I killed time by talking about how much fun we were going to have…

So we decided to go find somewhere to park the boat for lunch. Eventually we found this really cool cave that had plenty of room to put the boat under, and we got out the sandwich stuff. It’s kind of a tradition we have to have sandwiches when we go boating or snowmobiling. So we got out the bread, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, meat, and pickles along with the fruit salad, and Powerades. After I had finished eating I got bored and decided to go for a swim, so I cannon balled in, and the water was even warmer inside of the cave! I just laid back on my lifejacket and floated, it was so…

We put on footies still wet from tide pooling, and life jackets, so if the kayak lips over then we won't drown. Then we got our oars. We were partnered up boy, girl. Dan taught us how to maneuver the kayak,a few peoples’ oars bumped into each other. Then my partner and I grabbed a green kayak, and bided until everyone else was in the water. Then, Dan schlepped our kayak to the shore, and told us to get in.I was shaking from all of the excitement. My partner got into the front, I went into the back. Then the waves started to get bigger and bigger and bigger , then finally, Dan pushed our kayak into the waves and we were off!! I was so excited I almost forgot to…

We have to!”, as I pointed to the gigantic blue and grey water slide, my mother's face scrunched up with disgust. For she doesn't like roller coaster nor huge water slides, exactly like this one just yonder. She turned back around and told my brothers and me to put some pep in our step so we can get to the rides, as if she didn't hear a word I just said. As my family moved along, I trudged behind because I knew we weren't going to the enormous water slide. After we went through the park and rode the other little water rides, and roller coasters, and of course the lazy river we decided to call it a day and head home, but since we were on the other half of the park, to walk back we had to pass the huge, terrifying, grey and blue water…

Skiing was not my forte or my favorite activity to do. My emotions were enraged at the way I tumbled down the slope. My body ached by falling and tumbling through the freezing cold snow and ice. Home sounded so marvelous right now, anywhere but here, my confidence had hit rock bottom. My face red and frozen from sobbing. I concluded that there was some other way down, nevertheless there wasn’t.…

Two docks filled with every type of boat imaginable, canoe, kayak, row boat, paddle boat, and on. Smiling, warm water ripples as my toes dip in; my feet are greeted with the tickle of the small fish swimming right at the edge of the dock. Through the years, the swim to the raft on Sugar Maple Lake becomes shorter and shallower; and once on, my cool skin meets scorching wooden planks that have been laid out through the first months of summer. Chilly water is splashed up onto the raft as my grandfather’s boat pulls near, tube attached to the back. In the beginning, the…

First, we went to the office to sign all the waivers, which made me really nervous for my life. Since we had a long wait, we sat down with the other people who were in our group. I met an elderly man and his wife; they were very polite and friendly. It was their first time parasailing also. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, it was time for us to board the boat. We had to walk across the street and down a long walkway to get to the dock. As we were boarding the boat I almost slipped and fell into the water.…

My first swim was full of many new sights to see and sounds to hear. There were hundreds of swimmers present, all looking for a chance to show the audience their talent and to do their best in each of their heats. When it came time to perform, the crowd was silent. I was on a ledge that was three feet above the water. I stared at the crystal blue water and saw my reflection. I gripped firmly on the edge of the diving board and leaned forward to face my next challenge. From the height of the diving board, the black tiles located at the center of every lane appeared to be endless. I glanced…

Another beauty of this trip is that I went to Alaska by cruise. Sometimes on a vacation, I would want to sit back and rest. The cruise provided different shows and exercises for us. Basically every night I went to watch a show or a concert. There was a pool on the 12th deck. I could go swimming any time I wanted to. The freezing cold water penetrated me, but I still went swimming once a while. I had a…
