Memorandum
To: CEO at Best Game Products
From: Georgia Triblett, BS, and Consultant
Date: 2/25/2013
Re: Postponement of the holiday game release
As you know Best Game Products were set to release a game for the holiday that is a sequel to a previous game. The game that is set to be release has a bug in it that diminish the quality of the game. The consultant for Best Game Products advises the CEO that it will be best for the game not to be release until the problem is fixing.
The recommendation is that the game does not be release until after the holiday which will give adequate time to fix the game. Best Game Products pride themselves on their integrity and honesty for the business and customers; if the game is released before it is fix Best Game Products stands to lose valuable customers and possibly taint their name.
The release of the game can prove to be damaging to the company and its reputation of providing the best for the customers. Withholding the game until further notice would show the customers that Best Game Products is not just about making money but providing the best for the customers.
This memo is being sent to you because as the CEO of Best Game Products the final say is yours whether or not to release the game for the holiday or postpone it until the bug has been removed.

This report presents the meetings that have taken place here at CanGo. For the short time I have been observing I have learned that CanGo is a small company but is one of the fastest growing companies around. During the meetings none of the staff members talked about the effects that online gaming would have. Furthermore, staff didn’t ask opinions on the online gaming topic they also didn’t speak about price of stock or how it contribute to the overall strategy. Some employees would like to see some firm financial projections before implementing the online gaming. When a video game is released, many people see is as the newest video masterpiece. It is something that shouldn't be touched, and will remain throughout generations for gamers to play. However, depending on the time the game was released, sooner or later that game will become outdated, or obsolete. People will tend to forget and move on to the next newly released game of their choosing. Back in 2002, a GameBoy game by the name of Pokemon Ruby was released by Nintendo, and it took over the gaming world by storm! For its time, it was very technology advanced with having colored graphics on a handheld device, the first of its time! Nonetheless, after a few years , the game started to fade from the eyes of the average gamer, as they looked into…

immediately holds an advantage over much of the competition, because we can offer things such as trade-ins and store credit, which major retailers do not. I think this greatly benefits our company and capitalizing on this ability is something that needs to be done, because it sets us apart from the other retailers in the gaming industry. My first plan of action would be “Online Trade-Ins”, this has yet to be done by any company, but would work very similar to companies such as Game-Fly, who send you game rentals in the mail. We would send a pre-paid envelope to the home of the person trading in the game, and when the game is shipped back and confirmed, the consumer will receive a promo-code worth the trade-in that can be used online or in-store, which basically means they can trade out games without ever leaving their home, which is perfect for our younger…
