Mentally Disabled people should receive help as much as they possible can, not forgetting the fact that they are human beings. If your child were mentally disabled, whether it is physical or mental, would you go through all kinds of medical technology to help your child just to be looked at as being normal'? And by being considered normal, this means you would do whatever it takes, including the risk of death just to have your child be accepted in today's brutal society? Or would you rather leave your child as God created him/her? Whether it be going through all sorts of crazy medical technology, or leaving your child as God created them to be, mentally disabled people are Human too.
Being born mentally disabled in no way, shape, or form makes your child odd' or not normal.
