Merchants Castle
My artifact for the renaissance is a castle. this artifact represents a merchant's life and changes. The merchants, in my perspective, were the most hard working class and the class who created the bunch of changes. I chose a castle because a lot of o merchants became very rich from the growth of trade and because they were able to buy castle's from the nobility class. Just like the nobility merchants with a lot of money could now have spare time and money to learn how to read, play music, and admire pieces of art. Back when no change occurs church members and nobility were the only ones who could own expensive goods.
