Because of the geographic features and proximity to rivers, the Chinese and Mesopotamian Civilizations were about to originate and commence. China also developed the Dynastic Cycle as a result of geographic catastrophes as well as becoming a feudalistic civilization and silk making. In addition, the Tigris and Euphrates rivers impacted Mesopotamia profoundly because it was a great resource. Moreover, Mesopotamia had a scarcity of materials, which made them find other ways to gather what they needed. In addition, Mesopotamia had very complex institutions such as ziggurats to honor a deity in order to receive prosperity and well-being. They also had the Code of Hammurabi, which showed how much they relied on their land and what they would do to protect it.
