Message of Thanks
To our school principal, Ms. ______________, our school principal, Mrs. _____________, school principal, ________________, honored guests, beloved teachers, dear parents, schoolmates, fellow graduates, a pleasant afternoon to all. Today marks another milestone in our life. This day is our graduation day from our ten years of untiring efforts and sacrifices. While I’ve always thought that having graduated from high school is already an act of gratitude in itself, this special event will not be completed without a message of thanks to all who made this day special in our life. Though words aren’t enough to express our innermost appreciation for all the good things that come our way, I shall attempt to articulate in behalf of my fellow graduates, the deepest feeling of happiness in our life. First and for most, I take it as an honor to thank our dear parents for their endless love, support, sacrifices, and for the efforts that you’ve exerted in order to give us the best education. You’ve journeyed long with us minding not your own comfort. We love you very much. The greatest resource the world could ever have. With fondness and sweet memories, we thank our teachers for they have laid the foundation of knowledge in our young minds and they encouraged us, challenge us and pushed us to our limits and so that we could be the best that we could be. We are very proud of you. You’re the best. To our overwhelming classmates and schoolmates, to our best and special friends, thanks for the pats and push, trust and support, for the smiles and hugs, for the inspirations and sweet memories, and for the jokes and laughter’s too. Well never forget you as we continue our journey. Big thanks to our Alma Mater, ________________________________________, for giving refuge to develop our skills and talents. You have provided us an idea –a vision- that will serve as the beacon to our journey in life. Our school has adequately prepared us to become better persons, to be always true to ourselves and to dream big. As we step out in our schools, we shall always remember CDMS in presence of our beloved school president, school administrator, and school principal. And of course, we thank our awesome God, for all the gift of life and light for He is the source of all our strength, wisdom, grace, and the giver of life to whom nothing is impossible. Before I end my message of thanks, I want to share a saying to my fellow graduates. “Live your best and act your best and think your best today; for today is sure preparation for tomorrow and all other tomorrow that follows.” To my fellow graduates, CONGRATULATION.. Once again Good Afternoon and Thank you..

Today, June, 26th, 2012, is the day that we, as a class, are going to graduate the eighth grade. Of course, we all know that. But do we really understand what it all means? The definition of graduation is to complete a class or course of study. That’s it, the original definition of graduating. To me, graduation means more than that. It means growing, it means changing, and it means moving on. Today, the ceremony might seem like it's all happening too fast, or, it might seem like it's never going to end, but all our lives we'll remember it, and that's what counts. My two years of middle school have been a time to remember, I’ve learned a lot during my time in middle school, and these memories are what we are going to remember for the rest of our lives.…

My fellow seahawks, I want to first congratulate you all for making it to this momentous occasion. Graduating high school, who would’ve thought we'd make it to this day. It seems like just yesterday we arrived to South Lakes. We were little freshmens fighting with the locks on our lockers, trying to figure out where our next class was and generally looking lost and clueless. Now here we are as the upperclassmen, the seniors, ready to graduate and take a hold of our futures. In the beginning, we measured time in class periods which we felt like imprisonment, counting down the periods until eventual freedom. As the weeks passed, we measured it in semester, and later in years. We moved from being those clueless freshmen to the seniors who are…
