Methodology

Research Methodology is the process used to collect information and data for the purpose of making business decisions. The methodology may include publication research, interviews, surveys and other research techniques, and could include both present and historical information.
Research Methodology is included the two types of methodology. It is qualitative and quantitative research methodology. Mixed method studies are those that combine the qualitative and quantitative approaches into the research methodology of a single study or multiphase study. These methods are further subdivided into five specific types of designs. For example, Sequential studies (two-phase studies), Parallel / simultaneous studies, Equivalent status designs, Dominant-less dominant studies and Designs with multilevel use of approaches.

Qualitative method, are methods that do not involve measurement or statistics. Because the natural sciences have had such resounding success with quantitative method, qualitative methods are sometimes looked down upon as less scientific. One example is the clinical method. The basic idea is to present a young child with a situation or problem for them to deal with. The researcher observes how they handle the situation and asks them questions to try to understand the thought processes they are using. Interview is the most common methods of data collection used in qualitative health care research. Interview can be used to explore the views experiences, beliefs and motivations of individual participants.
