Technology has been such a successful use, whether it comes to health emergencies, education purposes, and the latest trend Mexican Border Security. The Mexican border, of course is what separates the United States and Mexico, running from Texas all the way to California. Money has been a huge part of helping the Border be successful.
The job as the Mexican Border Security, is the keep Mexicans from crossing into the U.S. We all seem to have our own opinions about that situation, however we will be discussing the security of the border. “We strengthened our security at the borders so we could stem the tide of the illegal aliens. We put more boots on the southern border, today illegal crossings are down 80 percent from their peak in 2000.” Said by President Obama January of 2013. He has now from then doubled all security and it has been the strongest that it has ever been. With all the new equipment that the government has input immigration has greatly decreased with the cameras anyone can be seen, the drones anyone can be seen and as funny as it sounded with the ground monitors anyone can be felt when …show more content…
Before the border security there were men known as mountain men serving as border security, they did their best but lacked man resources and money. The horrifying incident has greatly effected the reasons why the border has “stepped up their game.” Everyone, also understands with the circumstances where the Government is coming from. The big plus about all the security is the it stops a lot of drug smuggling. No, it is not just immigrants which the border stops, it is also drugs! With the changes the drue smuggling rate has drastically fallen by a great 80 percent. People who live around the border are being effected by many things such as random shots that are shot to let coyotes know and to be aware that security is there. At times these random shots have deadly consequences.
Other than illegal crossing and drugs there a lot more crimes that occur along the border such as robberies, kidnappings, murders which are causing others to flee, So the rise of crime will also mean the rise of the illegal immigration just because they are trying to reach a safer place. The Mexican Border means different things to different people. First the it was to try and keep terrorist from trying to get in the US, next it was to try and keep Mexicans out of the US, and the most recent trend is to stop the smuggling of
