Mexican Restaurant Observation
I visited Qdoba Catering it is Mexican Restaurant. It is located 58 E Randolph St Chicago, IL 6060, I liked that place. I went there with my classmates and we had fun there. It is a small restaurant, but it has some piece of Mexica. It was a nice idea to open a restaurant with Mexican food in the center, because people can come and try a little of Mexica. I liked it because of the atmosphere, location, and food. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The kitchen is opened and everyone can see where their food is being prepper. I liked that idea the most in this restaurant. The walls are painted in calm colors. There was light green and brown. There are colorful soft sofas with tables and a long high table with chairs. The most I liked the long table, it was from the begging of the restaurant to the end. We were sitting there, because we were 5 people and we wanted to sit together so we decided to sit there. For the sound, there was playing music it was calm and quit. Also I heard how the food is being prepared. It was interesting, because it was the first time as I saw the open kitchen in the restaurant. The sound from the kitchen wasn’t noisy and that was good. It didn’t bother me when I was eating. Then the location is good. It is close to Harold Washington College. Also, it is close to …show more content…
When I entered the restaurant I smelled the food from the begging. The smell was so good, it smell chicken and spices. Then I made an order, I ordered burrito with chicken and vegetables. In few minutes my food was ready. It was warm, not hot that was good. I don’t like when the food is hot. Then I tread it. It was delusions. A little spicy for me, because I don’t eat spicy food in my culture, but I liked it. It was something new for me. At first I didn’t know how to eat it, but them Edgar explained me and I got the point. It was funny how I ate it, because it was hard for me to eat it and to hold it. I think, I looked funny when I was eating

In the 90's it was very hard to find a fast pace food environment that could actually serve quality food, that’s where Chipotle began to stand out. Bringing authentic and fresh Mexican ingredients is one of the many things that makes chipotle stand out to their competition. Chipotle meats are fresh, never frozen, left over night to marinate and grilled fresh every hour .They raise their cattle in humane conditions which help the quality of their meat, from my experience at dinging in this restaurant it always carries a peculiar taste as compared to other restaurants who have added hormones to enhance flavors. You can taste the unadulterated flavors in their vegetables, salsas, and guacamole versus the genetically modified condiments provided at other establishments. Chipotle is one of the few places that thrive on quality and quantity in a fast food environment yet still guarantying fresh flavorful organic ingredients. For those who are now a part of the health conscious wave this is without a doubt the best option for not only them but for…

It has come to my attention that there has been a decrease in productivity in the overall staff. At Chipotle, we must pride ourselves in being the fastest and most effective company around. In an effort to increase productivity and maintain 100% customer satisfaction, I suggest that all employees that were hired before April 10th, 2016, should undergo mandatory Productivity and Efficiency Reform Training.…

To begin with, Mexican cuisine in Texas started out with a famous dish called Tex-Mex. Moreover, in Debbie Gold’s “Women in Business” she states, “the name for Tex-Mex was originally the nickname for the Texas Mexican railway, which was located in Southern Texas” (Gold 42). In addition, Tex-Mex is the “mix of Mexican culinary traditions encountered by pioneers coming to Texas from other parts of the United States and other countries and bringing in their own flavors and cooking traditions with them” (Gold 40). Above all, Tex-Mex is not really an authentic Mexican cuisine but because Americans associate it as one Mexican cuisine restaurants embrace it. Likewise, Tex-Mex is an interesting choice to choose from when deciding where to eat out mainly…

As my family and I stepped d in, we were greeted and welcomed with loud beautiful music, which older families wouldn’t enjoy. I stood head to toe with the overwhelming menu of countless different meal choices. It was nicely dressed in a antique wrap of design around the edges. Each menu choice was separated in categories labeled with elegant and beautiful text, which made me love this place with more passion. I didn’t have one thought of my first choice of a meal for the night. To get saved from the black hole of the Riscky's menu was the generous waiter dressed in a formal manner. She walked up to our smooth wood grain finish table and greeted us with pure sincere gratitude knowing that we didn’t have one clue of what to order. She explained her favorite dish on the menu and I was absolutely certain It was soon to be my favorite as well.…

Miguel and his family left their home country of Chihuahua, Mexico for safety, better opportunities and to be free of religious persecution. (Why did you and your leave your home country?) Miguel’s parents had been talking about leaving their home land for a while, they were concerned with the escalating violence because of the drug war, an increase of kidnappings and homicides, made them feel unsafe not only in their own home but anywhere in the city. The family also practiced the Protestant faith which did not blend well with the locals, the majority of whom were Catholic. They felt they could not openly talk about or practice the religion of their choice. So in 2004 Miguel’s parents decided it was time to move the family to the U.S.…

At the moment when we got there, I saw a place that said “come in to real Mexican food” by just looking at the outside. At the moment I walked in I heard Mariachi music. As we are walking to our table, we could notice the decorations all inside the restaurant that makes people feel like they are part of the Mexican culture. They have mariachi hats, horse shoes, mariachi clothes, Mexican scarfs that are really pretty and colorful. You…

The food was very flavorful as well as authentic to the Louisianan style that includes French and Spanish heritage, the only thing that I would change is that the food came out slightly hotter. The service and hospitality of the restaurant and its employees was one of the most polite and pleasant experiences I've had in a while. Not only did the employees treat their customer with high respect, but also their fellow coworkers. The atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed with a family friendly feel but also mature enough for a fully functioning bar. The live band was a very nice addition as well, although it could be a little quieter because of how small the restaurants size is and how the sound carries very well. All in all though, I had a great time and I very much look forward to my next visit to Gulf Coast…

The exterior is very chic and you can see the beautiful lighting display from outside from the glass wall and door. At the entrance, is a tiny red carpet with a rope and palm trees. There is also a doorman to greet you. The exterior has an elegant Caribbean restaurant feel to it. It reminds me of the tourist part of Jamaica (such as Montego Bay, Negril, and Ocho Rios) which has a lot of fancy restaurants.…

First, I noticed how far this place was from where I live. The restaurant was in Snellville. As we arrived the building was made of this type of stone brick. The roof was made of the red tile shingles you would usually find on the roofs of houses in California. To me when I first entered it smelled like freshly mopped floor. A group of hosts greeted us at the door with a big smile and a “Hola Senoritas!”…

The overall look of the restaurant is quite clean and crisp and the décor is plain yet tasteful. As you are walking in, you can smell the delicious aroma of different spices. Each table is decorated with a vase of flowers which makes the restaurant feel a bit more than just your casual, every day joint. There are a number of tasteful paintings on the wall which is interesting, and it gives the restaurant a more vibrant and polished feel. As for the surroundings, there is a variety of different genre of music playing in the background; it is faint, but clear. Although the overall look and feel of the atmosphere is pleasant and uplifting, the environment is not appropriate if you are looking to enjoy a quiet evening, but the sounds of the restaurant are yet bearable.…
