Motivation Action Plan Riordan Manufacturing would like to guide you into a successful career within the corporation. We care about the future of our current employees and will take necessary steps to prove this. Therefore, we are presenting each of you with a Motivation Action Plan. This plan is based off of the assessments that you all completed two weeks ago. The self assessments identified your characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses, which was used to assist us in preparing the motivational action plan. This action plan will provide you with the tools necessary for you to become a team leader, supervisor, manager, or any other position within the
corporation. The motivation action plan works in connection with the motivational theories that have been discussed. Three assessments have been completed and two of the three assessments demonstrate employees who use Theory Y and one who uses Theory X. Theory Y is more for the employees who carry a positive attitude and tend to demonstrate quality work and exceed their expectations. However, theory X is based on the employees who demonstrate more of a negative attitude. Theory X employees tend to slack more and deliver less quality of work. We need to be sure to encourage all employees to have and maintain a positive attitude within the work place. It is also necessary for successful employees to demonstrate goal-setting strategies, and a self-efficiency theory as well. Both of these theories assist in preparing employees to be successful within the workplace. I will leverage employee evaluations to motivate each of the employees by using positive reinforcement. This plan is going to be used to encourage motivation in a positive manner. I plan to meet with each employee individually on a regular basis to see if the plan is working for him or her. If the plan is not working, we will collaborate and determine what we can do to improve things for the employee. My goal is to motivate employees to reach their goals successfully. I believe the motivation action plan will assist each employee in obtaining their goals within Riordan Manufacturing. This plan will be used to better the future of each employee and Riordan Manufacturing. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to discuss them with me.
