Career Plan Reflection
Throughout the last six weeks I have completed the career profiler. My profile shows I could work well in careers where success comes from applying practical skills and where thinking is mostly to solve practical problems. My career profile indicated that I am conventional, enterprising, and social. In addition, I am very detail oriented. My career strengths include following instructions, organizing, delivering results, ahering to values, strategizing, and coping with pressure. I think that the profiler correctly has dipicted my strengths.
My work culture results were high powered, well resourced, and ethical. I desire to work in demanding jobs that allow career development
and advancement. I prefer my work environment to be safe, comfortable, and to provide the tools to do my job. I believe in fairness, equal rights, and social and environmental responsibility.
In this career plan I have also recognized weaknesses that I need to work on to further my career. The next steps in my career to are to work on these weaknesses. This class has also taught me leadership theories and applications in which I will use to advance my career. One milestone I have established to measure my career goals is to finish this Project Management Certification and to move into a Level two project manager position at work. I believe that creating milestones and monitoring them keeps me on track. It allows me to recognize when I accomplish the next step in my career.
I believe that my career plan competencies and goals allow me to focus my time and attention in futire classes because I am detail-oriented , I can follow instructions, I am organized, and I can cope with pressure. I believe that these strengths will allow me to be successful in this program and as a result, I will advance my career. References
