Michael Joseph Jackson was born on august 29, 1958. He was born into a regular middle class African American family. His family has some music affiliation in the past but nothing like what was to come from their youngest son of five. His father joseph Jackson seeing Tito, Jermaine and Jackie potential, put them together when young Michael was just five years old he joined in on the adventure becoming the lead vocalist of the now called band “the Jackson 5” like any father would, joseph Jackson pushed his sons and daughter to what most people would call the breaking point. Deciding to launch his solo career at the age of 13. Being on the charts with his siblings and also by himself. For the next couple of years he was able to maintain a steady pace in both. Producing hit after hit from both ends. tension started to build up between the Jacksons and the record company specially between their father and Gordy the CEO. The whole reason of the arguments was who had control of the Jackson 5. All of these problem brought the separation of Motown and the Jackson 5. They later signed a new record deal with epic records in 1975. By 1979 Michael newest solo album off the wall wowed the music world. He was doing so well that by association it was helping out his other brothers. Trying out new things Michael decided to team up with the legendary Paul McCartney in a 1982 duet. History was broken with thriller in 1982 generated seven top ten hits and became the bestselling album in history. Michal was an amazing dancer at the time considered to be one of the best he created the “moonwalk” The thriller music video was on the number spot for 37 weeks. It was record breaking with 12 Grammy award nominations and they ended up winning eight. He also broke the record for achieving the longest span of U.S. Top singles from 11/ 6/ 1971, to 1/1/
