Linda Algozzini This is the personal essay of Michael Lewis and my learning styles. My essay will include reasons why I decided to go to college. I will talk about my learning styles according to the two inventories I have taken. As well as my opinions on whether I agree or disagree and how it plays a part in my future education.
My learning styles according to (The Center for New Discoveries in Learning, 2012) say that I am 18% visual, 44% auditory and 38% kinesthetic. The learning styles from (Felder & Soloman, n.d., http//www.engr,ncsu.edu/learngstyles.ilsweb.htmi)gave me a 7 for visual. I agree with the inventory findings.

    I have taken two online learning style assessments to determine my personal learning style. According to the Learning Style Inventory (Bixler, 2010) and The Center for New Discoveries in Learning (The Center for New Discoveries in Learning, 2012) my preferred learning style is auditory. This is the first time that I can recall ever taking an assessment on my learning style as I normally would answer with my preferred method as either visual and/or kinesthetic.     Upon completing The Learning Style Assessment, as noted in accordance to Bixler, B.( 2010) the results state I am an 41 % auditory , 27% Kinesthetic, and 27% visual.
