Everyone is put on this earth with a different circumstance, or opportunities. Everyone has challenges they go through throughout life. We all deal with our problems and obstacles differently. Everyone has the chance to succeed. Not everyone has the same opportunity to, but everyone has the chance to. People have different lives and situations. Some are people are born with all the money they could ever need, and others work all day, just to buy food for their family. Whether you have been working since you were a child, or whether you don’t work until you finish college, you have an opportunity to succeed.
Some have more challenging lives than others, but if you work your whole life and do absolutely everything in your power to succeed, then you will. Sometimes it’s not easy for some. Some people have to work from sun up to sun down and still don’t succeed in the way they want, but if they want it bad enough, they will pull the night shift too. You can work as hard as you want and you might not become a millionaire. You can work as hard as you can and you will succeed. To become a millionaire it would take a little bit more of being in the right place at the right time. To succeed you will need the three things mentioned. You will need hard work whether it is to get money for an investment or to make your business run properly. You will also need sacrifice because along the way you’re going to give up sleep, fun, and some of your personal life. And finally you’ll need perseverance because when things don’t look good you will need to have to keep going and keep on keeping on.
Michael Oher is great proof of this statement. He came from the slums, bounced from home to home. He got the opportunity to get into a good school because of his size where he was take in by a rich family by luck. He didn't work to get into that family, but after he want out for football, he worked with grades and coaches to be the best. Even though he came from a poor house, didn't know

    Outliers Analysis

In the book Outliers author Malcolm Greenwell talks about a variety of topics that deal with how success is obtained by individuals who are blessed to have many different opportunities. They range from a school designed for students to excel, to being financially wealthy, or even being in the right place at the right time. Many different types of examples of people who found success through opportunities laid out in front of them are discussed in Outliers. From a man who was Jewish and just happened to be born in a location where lawyers were scarce, to hockey players who were born just after the cut off dates, Gladwell describes types of advantages and how these opportunities sparked success for these people. He also talks about how success is also derived from hard work and putting in the time to master a particular trade or skill. A theory of putting in ten thousand hours is discussed as the way to become an expert. This way of thinking is actually a very intelligent one due to the fact that to achieve greatness at the highest level it only makes sense that one would have to work the hardest. As Gladwell states, “The people at the top don’t work just harder or even much harder than everyone else. They work much, much harder” (Gladwell 39). This is a great statement that shows how while luck and good fortune is never a bad thing, hard work and taking advantage of opportunities is what separates the ordinary from the extraordinary. While outworking the competition is a very important aspect, having and taking advantage of opportunities is just as important to achieving success.…
