Suffering from side effects following the surgery was an obstacle in my academic performance, but the care received at the time and over the next few years during recovery made me understand the importance of skilled physicians and PAs. After shadowing Mrs. Stacey Kleinbeil and Ms. Jamie Kinsey,I got a better insight to a role of a physician assistant.I closely observed their professional etiquette,interpersonal skills,importance of teamwork, integrative patient care and seeking consultation from physician.I imagined myself in their shoes as I walked beside them. The ease of working in different speciality definitely snatched my attention to choose a career as a physician assistant. During my academic period, I struggled to pay my tuition fees and the tremendous medical expenses followed by the surgery.
