ABSTRACT
This assignment studies key theories of how organizational managers effectively direct the organizational affairs through self-assessment exercises that have positive impact on systems’ growth and advancement. Contributions from renowned authors such as Clawson, J. & McNay, E, Peter Barrn Stack, Onwe, J.O., David A. Nadler and Michael L. Tushman, Bill George, Peter Sims, Andrew N. Mclean and Diana Mayer were considered in the discussions in the first section.
The subsequent section of my paper examines Prejudice as it relates to undesirable/negative attitudes of individuals towards other members of a group, race, colour, tribe etc. Some notable authors’ views like Allport, Warren G. Bennis and Robert J. Thomas, Banaji and Clawson were also considered.
INTRODUCTION
This essay reviews theories of how managers do self assessment and personal evaluation of themselves to aid their functionalities as leaders that desire to succeed. Every leader needs to evaluate or assess his or her skills and competencies to benefit the organization.
