The slaves had a harsh trip on the Middle Passage to the New World. When the slaves were in Africa, they sold them on an auction block. That also later happened in America. By the 1960’s, Africa's started to come thousands at a time. Because there were so many slaves, slavery
became a thing. They arrived first in the South and South Carolina.
In addition, their knowledge was very needed to the success of the southern colony. They were, have been very known for their ability to grow crops. Also, they spoke a number of languages at one time called Gullah. In Georgia, South Carolina, and the coasts it was called Geehee. They passed a Negro Act so the couldn’t gather together, carry guns, read, and also couldn’t write. Even after the Stono Rebellion, the trade of slaves wasn’t limited at all.
In conclusion, they were one of the many people that ever can in America so their culture does have an impact on our country then and also now as well. The state thought that the owners should let all the slaves go. They thought that it was a bad idea after all. Once the slaves became free they moved away from the South. They didn't want to ride around and see what they had to do at one time. There still isn’t that many African-Americans in the South today. Also they wanted to get into the town and get out of the country so once they moved out of the South they moved into the town. After the American Revelation, all slave owners were made to release all of their slaves.
