Middle Range Nursing Theories

Nursing theory is a framework designed to organize knowledge and explain phenomena in nursing, at a more concrete and specific level. The need for nursing theories is very crucial because nursing theories usually addresses the phenomena of interest to nursing and also the relationship between the nurse and the patient, goals and also the purpose. Also the purpose for nursing theory is to advance the discipline and professional practice of nursing .There are three types of nursing theories which includes grand theory, middle-range theory, and Practice theory. In this case we will focus on the relationship between middle range nursing theory and evidenced based practice nursing theory.
