Middle School Reflective Essay
What I noticed from middle school to high school in regards to my reading skills is it dramatically increased. I’ve noticed that I occasionally have intelligent conversations with my peers or even adults. In middle school, I would usually stutter or say “um” or “ah,” but as I read more, I tend to deviate away from the verbal pauses. My vocabulary had skyrocketed compared to middle school because some of the words I’ve learned in high school, I would have never known in middle school. Due to reading, it helped me to spell words correctly and gain an understanding of what the words mean. I have changed the negative thoughts I had in middle school because of high school.
