Since the midpoint evaluation I have done so much with DSZ and my Deaf guide. I have gone to Church multiple times, and stayed for lunch with my guide this was an awesome experience because I was very curious as to how services were given and got to meet and communicate with. I additionally went to Gallaudet’s homecoming game, which was such a fun time, and saw many friends from both the deaf studies program and the Deaf community. Overall, my favorite time spent with my deaf guide was when I went to go visit Eddie who is my guide at his home. This is my favorite because not only did I learn so much about how he lives everyday but the excitement in my face when I told him it was me can never be replaced.

Additionally the Hardest challenge I faced is linked to this event as well. The struggle of sinking up schedules with my partner or even other students from class to make this visit possible was frustrating. The trouble I had organizing this visit as well as others was stressful and there were many cancellations along the way due to conflicts in schedules. For example I had planned on visiting Eddie at his house multiple times and two out of the three where cancelled due to others backing out last
