Today Australia is known as a multicultural society even though for the past few centuries migration and immigrants have been a sensitive topic in the Australian politics. This text allows the readers to continue on with the negative attitude that comes along with the migrant experience. With most texts being about the negative experiences and having a negative tone the happiest refugee challenges with stereotype. Anh dos story is one full of negative stories that would crush any other person except giving in on life his uplifting tone inspires all.
During the timeline of Anh dos' life he encounters many people that have enhanced his life; he has also met thoughts who had hindered them.
