Name of the project:- SCHEMES AND APPRAISAL OF MSMEs PROJECT
Week Wise Project Description:-
Week I (1st May – 3th May 2013)
Walking to the SIDBI office building in Indore on the first day of my internship, my mind was racing. It gave me the opportunity to apply financial principles learned within the classroom to real-world activity within the industry. First day I went to the brief study of SIDBI. Where I read that SIDBI is an extensive body of literature, internationally, is concerned with exploring the role of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in generating employment and contributing to regional economic growth. In India, one of the peak bodies charged with supporting the development and financing of the SME sector is SIDBI – Small Industrial Development Bank of India, which was set up on April 2, 1990 under an act of Indian Parliament. The charter under which it is established is – The Small Industries development Bank of India Act, 1989.
It consists of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
