MILITARY BASES
Military bases are strongholds composed of combined Filipino and American forces which were formed during the Japanese Occupation in the Philippines (WWII)

Task: ibangon ang bansa na nalugmok dahil sa digmaan
2 layunin:
1. pagpalaki ng produksyon
2. pagbangon ng mga industriyang pinansala noong digmaan patakaran upang isagawa ito ay ang pakikipagtulungan sa US at pagpapaubaya sa mga Amerikano na gamitin ang mga yaman ng bansa

TREATY OF GENERAL RELATIONS (JULY 4, 1946)
Isinuko ng US ang lahat ng karapatan nito sa Pilipinas liban sa mga military bases nito. Ang military bases ay para sa proteksyon ng mga Amerikano.
*likas na yaman part was given back to the Filipinos
WAR SURPLUS PROPERTY AGREEMENT (Sept 11, 1946)
Ipinapaubaya ng US ang mga ari-arian nito (sa PHL) sa pamahalaan ng Pilipinas
*but most of it were trash lol or broken from the war
MILITARY BASES AGREEMENT (Marso 14, 1947)
Nagpahintulot ang mga Amerikano na gawing base military ang ilang lugar sa bansa sa loob ng 99 taon
MILITARY ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT (Marso 21, 1947)
Nagbabawal sa PHL na mag-angkat ng suplay militar at tumanggap ng serbisyong military ng ibang bansa libas sa US unless may kasunduan btwn US and the PHL first
JOINT US MILITARY ADVISORY GROUP (JUSMAG)
Gabayan at payuhan ang mga Pilipino sa usaing military
Only Americans part of this and they answer only to the US not PHL
