In conclusion, I have found that TQM can be a powerful tool for using employee creativity, reducing costs, and improving service to customers and the public. However, the concept of TQM was weak and the quality of many products was still poor in China, and the implementation of TQM is not always a worthwhile investment. So I disagree that no business can succeed without the TQM system. It is not necessary for every business to use TQM, especially in China business environment. If it is implemented properly, TQM can keep an organization at the leader in the international market. If managers stick to planning and implementing TQM carefully, it can become easier to make the company successful year after year. • TQM is heavily embedded in the concept of continuous improvement. This is a never ending process – a continual process of change. While change is inevitable, a firm employing TQM must learn to accept it and continue to work toward continuous improvement. However, this is not a simple process, as it may require structural, organizational, cultural and process transformation. Yet the cost of these changes may not be seen as justifiable if viewed only from the short term.…

There are several ways in which TQM and ISO can be used to improve an organization. TQM helps organizations to involve themselves with the entire process, a veritable "birds eye view" that involves leadership in the whole process and in the proper way. TQM lends itself to more practical and tactical means of managing. The main focus of TQM is to improve overall consumer satisfaction by promoting consistency in performance and thereby meeting expectations with the same consistency. "TQM provides the quality assurance that customers will get what they expect, as well as a process for managing unsatisfied customers, make needed corrections and prevent similar re-occurrences" (Cebos.com, 2014). Research shows conclusively that the implementation of TQM improves standards in the workforce and overall output. By focusing on internal processes,…

IF a single characteristic is most strongly attached to the TQM philosophy, it is prevention rather than detection. Like many of the philosophies tied o TQM, this is not a new concept. Recall a popular saying from Halliburton’s Wise Saws, first published a century and a half ago: “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” That wisdom says it all, from a TQM perspective.”…
