Cajeta is overall better than Caramel health and taste wise. Cajeta is a Mexican confection of thickened syrup made with goat’s milk that is either put in a bottle or made into lollipops or obleas. Cajeta is made with goat milk while caramel is made with cow milk. Cajeta is a bit thicker than caramel is, but that makes it easier to spread on pancakes and bread. Cajeta is also made with cinnamon and not just sugar. Cajeta also has no cholesterol in it. Cajeta is a better version of caramel just like Mexican coke is to American coke. According to prevention.com says that goat milk has 3% more magnesium which is the key to your immune system and immunity. It also has 5% more calcium than what cow milk has. Calories are the energy we use to do our everyday routine, they are the fuel that keeps us running and functioning normally; however, the body can only burn so many calories a day and if you eat too many calories you could start to gain weight. It also has less fats and cholesterol than caramel. Too much cholesterol and other fats can lead to diseases and all healthy diets involve observing how much fat you eat. Doesn’t have too much sugar added. Authoritynutrition.com says that sugar doesn’t have any essential nutrients and it provides easily digestible energy for the bad bacteria in the mouth. Sugar can also cause insulin resistance that can progress to type II diabetics it can also give you cancer and heart disease.
However, the cinnamon added to cajeta can neglect the effects that sugar can cause to you. The goat milk and cinnamon both help with your immunity to diseases become stronger and more capable of defeating them. Also as you get older your stomach may become more sensitive and be slower than what it is now, and that is where the goat milk in cajeta comes in handy. Cajeta has many health advantages over caramel and is made into many different candies which children, adults, and senior citizens can enjoy then in either a tasty lollipop or a crunchy but soft
