Reason why I chose this was just as a Flowerball that can be so sleek and elegant, why couldn’t a product that has a feature of space in it and that no one would expect to see in a product. This product can too be sleek and elegant while looking organic and different. Well just like many of Nash’s designs, this design was created to look unique and that was created from and-any day object that any person would discard. The function of this particular design work is to produce light when it is dark or not so well lit area, while the function of the colour, since the bottle has a blue tint to it, this product is designed to have the viewer have a sense of space. Since the colour that is usually a representative of space is a dark blue with the obvious colour black of course. The UFO relates the shape of its futuristic space-like appearance. How this is created is by a symmetric shape of light that would make it resemble a flying saucer of some sorts.
