Mince pies have a unique sweet and savory taste, going along with dried fruits and minced meat. This is a traditional treat for Christmas time in England. Ancient Middle Eastern recipes including meats, various fruits and spices were based for this British recipe during 13th century. People in different areas were calling this tasty mince pie in many names. “Shrid pie”, “Mutton pie”, and during Christmas time it was “Christmas pie”.
Normally, with a mixture of minced meat, a wide range of fruits, and spices such as nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves in a pastry cup was associated together as a simple mince pie. But now, people use so much more ingredients to this to make a difference. Various sauces, vegetables, dairy products are always good
