• The mid-term exam is worth 150 points. • The 10 short answer identification questions will comprise 100 points (10 points each) of the exam. You will have some IDs to choose from (10 out of 14). I will only choose identification questions from the list below. • The map portion will make up the remaining 50 points. Study the European, Asia and the Middle East Maps. Concentrate on those cities, countries and geographical features we have mentioned and discussed in class. I will also include some places in the world which should simply be common knowledge. • On the day of the exam you will need to bring a Blue Book (Large or Small, it’s entirely up to you) a pencil and a pen. Please write your short answer identification questions in blue or black ink and write in complete sentences.

For instance, taxation underwent extensive changes during this dynastic transition.
