As per the old practice, C&M team used to generate TDC order in SAP after the necessary confirmation received from our Project team.
Saikrupa Developers applied for ten domestic connections on 03.02.2015 with the then applicable TDCRC charges and full payment. We generated TDC orders for six domestic customers on 15.04.2016. But for rest four domestic customers, TDC orders could not be generated on that day because of TECO entry date issue and SAP limitations. In almost all cases we generate TDC order timely, but in this rare case, The TDC order generation activity was not completed. Though now we use a different procedure to stop minimum billing. but we have discussed preventive measures within our team to avoid this kind of problem in future. …show more content…
These four customers’ minimum unit gas bills had been generated in SAP before the connections were forcefully disconnected in October 2010.
Meter reading at the time of disconnection were 1s (SCM) for all the four customers, that indicates no gas consumption by the customers.
1. The customers applied for TDCRC charges.
2. TDC order generation activity was not completed because of our foresight and SAP limitation.
3. The customers had not used our gas before the connections were disconnected
forcefully.
