Matthew Critter, a Dominican Priest published an articles “Minor Orders” that explained different types of Minor Orders that existed early in the Catholic Church. He marked the importance that the Old Order in the Catholic Church to be more rewarding and allowing further development. In the Early Church, minors orders allowed a person to further develop his instruction, and discipline in the Church since it consisted of many minor orders that had to be completed, before receiving any major orders such as Bishop.
