my name. Well, I have to say this, enough is enough. It's bad enough when the silent majority is overthrown by the polarized, vicious minority, who not only to strip the rights of Western peoples, but us minorities as well. I had the privilege of growing up and raised in one of the greatest countries in the world, the United States of America. It was a place, where the first scientific innovations unraveled, to the discovery of space, to the kind outreach to seek justice. With all contribution was made by the will of the people. I came from a family of refugees, who aspired us to have a better life, and not only uplift ourselves, but the world around us. I was taught not only the values of community, but seeking the good out of the bad, the light out of the work, etc. Back in the days, immigrants coming into the United States of America, had the passion, drive, commitment to go beyond national, ethnic, racial, and other backgrounds to unite as Americans. You know what? It feels good, when you're raised right, and taught to think freely for yourself. Immigrants back in the day were seen as great people, who advanced the country to greater heights, and it took a level of pride to identify as such. This quickly changed, as there came a new wave of immigration. One that didn't come for a better life, but to spill the horrors of their previous cultures. It transitioned a period where immigrants didn't import their best traits, but rather worst traits. Examples such as waving flags from other countries, to speaking languages other English in the public, to wishing negative things about this grand nation. I cannot stand to listen to this hate, fear-mongering, repeated rhetoric from the new wave of immigrants. Rather than serving the purpose of this country, they turned their back from it.
They displayed the horrors of nationalism, rather than the beauty of patriotism. A quote that struck well from this is, "Nationalism is where you throw the rocks to your enemies, whereas patriotism is picking up your enemies after they have fallen, and wishing the best for them, for nationalism is the ugly sister of patriotism." This quote was true, as growing up as a ethnic group in the Middle East, there was profound witness on the horrors of nationalism. There was a resurgence of nationalistic groups who claimed to fight for the rights of ethnic minorities in surrounding countries, when only they produced mere bloodshed of their own people and other innocent civilians. Therefore, it taught that nationalism didn't help at all, if there pure ignorance and illogical sentiment being in place. This ties to the effect of new immigrant groups coming to the West, especially Europe and the United States of America, as they only bring troubles along their path. They are like a time bomb, only ticking to their demise, and the fall of a civilized nation. They don't fear the consequences and repercussions of such poisoning doctrines imposed by the false teachings of the wrong perils of fundamentalism or
extremism. Instead, the only goals of such immigrants is the bent notion of destroying what so they craved, the freedoms of a dynamic society. Now, I'm not against immigration, as that would be an oxymoron since I come from immigration as well. I only merely think that there should be reform on immigration, to allow those who truly need a better life and will be productive for society to be welcomed. For if there is no regulation or careful thought into this, then the fate of Western civilization will cease to exist.
