INTRODUCTION
There are different types of restaurants, some of these are the local restaurants known as chop bars, bar and restaurants, hotel and restaurants, fast-food restaurants, fine-dining restaurants, theme restaurants and casual dining restaurants. Regardless of its types, restaurants tend to manage its operation through integration of people, data and technology into a system. The use of Information Technology helps firms in making their services much better and makes works easier. With computers being part of our day to day lives and as omnipresent as they are today, there’s hardly any business that does not rely extensively on information technology systems. Every organization has a pool of valuable information which is used for further processing. That’s why managing information into a systematic way is important. Management Information System is the organization of data within the organization with the help of an information technology tool. MIS helps not only the internal operations of an organization but makes its external operations more efficient and beneficial. It helps with problem solving, control and decision-making of the organization, and provides data in the form of management reports. Although information system is usually used for quality control, it is also used for providing certain dimensions of service quality. The appropriate development and management of information technology tools is of great help to executives and management.
