Argument
I recently start my first year at Fife College, based in Dunfermline, Scotland which is not my home Country. Despite of the language barrier, culture and customs I decide to tray and give a shot. Academic year starts in the same month as in my country on September.
The first day at college went basically good and people at college were very hopeful.
Evidence
Because English is my second language I had so many apprehensions and I was terrified. I wasn’t sure does my English is good enough to go to school.
On the first day I didn’t know any single person from the college and where I should go to find my course and right classroom. Apart from the fact that I done some research earlier about the college still I was confused and not confident.
After while finally I manage to find my class and my lecturer. We spent all day to getting to know each other and introducing ourselves. We discussed also about our course what we have to do to pass our final exam, what kind of task we will have. Our lecture provide all information where we can look for any help when we will have any problems and where we can find library, Careerzone or Learning Support Centre.
Fact
On that day the school was looked so huge for me and I wasn’t sure do I will be able to find myself and acclimate in this new for me community.
As I said the first day at college went very good. I made many new friends in class and got to know people and school building really well. Most of them were very nice, chatty and friendly also most of the lectures were very helpful and kind. I knew already how the study will be looked like in the next few months.
Viewpoint
