Thorpe Park is a theme park located in England, surrey which was built in 1979, with an aim of being a water themed park. At first the site was a gravel pit owned by Ready Mixed Concrete Limited who excavated gravel, but then in the 1970’s the company flooded part of the site with the intention of creating water based theme park; the other side of the park would have been used for an educational park with the theme of the history of British people. In 1998 the Tussauds group bought the park and made it into a ‘thrill seekers’ amusement park with rides such as The Flying Fish, Depth Charge and No Way Out. Then in 2008 Tussauds group was bought by Merlin Entertainments group which is the second largest visitor’s attraction operator in the world and the largest visitor’s attraction in Europe for £1 billion which meant they now owned Thorpe Park. Some people come from out of state to enjoy the theme park in spring and summer break. It is a fun place because there are many things to do even though it is less rides. I still love all the roller coasters and my favorite roller coaster is the Alpengist. Lines can be long, but never disappoints me at all. Amazing roller coasters their I like most of them. They have roller coasters for adults and young children. They also have wolves, goats and a dog it is kind of cool because they are very shy and curious. During the summer time, they have fireworks. This is the best feature in the park. Everyone also enjoys the Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town. I've never been to the Christmas town, but I heard it is nice. In December, Christmas lights are placed on the rides as décor. I really enjoy seeing penguins and having fun visiting all the different…

This debut feature from director Wayne Blair transports four young Aboriginal women and their Motown-inspired soul-sisters act from an impoverished Outback mission to war-torn Vietnam. Aboriginal actress Debra Mailman, plays hard-crusted Gail, the group’s sharp-tongued leader who, against her better judgment, falls for Dave and learns to love, accepts her sisters as independent women and sees her cousin Kay for the strong, black family member she it. Sweetly simple Sapphires is hardly a cinematic diamond but this identity-and-belonging-find style mash-up of music and melodrama manages to showcase on the basis true story, and open our eyes to the racist prejudice that may still be tormenting aboriginals to this day. Moreover, the audience get a glimpse at the more intimate development of a black woman who thought she had control of the land beneath her feet, but who ended up falling between the earthquake cracks of her distorted world vision, once war hit, love stuck, light shone and her eyes opened, throughout the life-changing journey in Vietnam.…

I believe that the grammar skills people have shouldn’t be judged so harshly in a working environment. Every job is different and each job has different responsibilities to fulfill. Also if someone does have bad grammar that shouldn’t mean they are less intelligent than those who have good grammar. But what if someone is very qualified for the job and an employer decided to toss out someone’s application because of poor grammar? They may have potentially lost a good employee without even realizing it. Therefore if someone has bad grammar it shouldn’t be judged as harshly because that person could be the exact one an employer is looking for.…
